The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's bout.
Ex two time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
